You can shop till you drop online, but we still think there's nothing like a visit to the shop to really soak up the Inch's atmosphere. You'll find it packed with the latest seasonal fashion, accessories and hand crafted products for both you and your horse as well as friendly, knowledgeable staff on hand to help answer any questions.
Our History
We opened in 1983 with our first shop in Newbury town centre but we soon grew out of it and moved to Hannington for more space and fantastic parking right outside the door. Here the business has grown to what it is today. It is where we can do most things from supplying a hoof pick to repairing boots, you name it and on the whole we can do it .
Anne has been in the saddlery trade for thirty years doing her apprenticeship at Langston and Sons, which in those days was one of the best know riding clothing retailers in the country with a great reputation for fitting leather boots, show and hunt coats. So her knowledge is second to none.
Rosslyn came in to the business in 1983 when it started so has learnt from the master. Her main interest back then was eventing but that quickly changed to dressage. She has been trained by and worked for by some of the best including Ginny Leng, Dot Willis and Emile Faurie.
Inch's is now looking for the next big thing and we think we may have found it in the shape of HKM, the brand that gives you great value and quality and Animo the beautiful Italian brand that is waking up the horse world with its innovative design and great looks.
