Equilibrium's approach to equine nutrition is based on listening and responding to what your horse really needs in his diet on a daily basis.
Equilibrium believe that a good quality diet of fibre and hard feed is sufficient to meet your horse’s daily nutritional needs. There are times however, when your horse may face stressful situations which can cause disruption to their dietary needs, such as
- Increase in work levels
- Change in routine
- Change in social environment
- Travelling
- Competitions
- Illness or injury
- Limited turnout
- Breeding season
The Simplyboost varieties have been designed as an addition to your horse’s daily feeding regime, at times when extra support is needed.
Size: 500 ml (10 day serving for horse, 20 day serving for pony)
Dosage: Add to feed for at least 5 days or until bottle is finished. Repeat as required.

Why add Vitamin C?
Vitamin C is naturally present in fresh green forages, but low in most dried feedstuffs. The horse can synthesize (make) some of its own vitamin C, but this natural supply can be overcome in times of high demand or stress.
Vitamin C has many important biological functions; antioxidant, involved in the response to infection, mineral absorption, metabolism of vitamin D and the synthesis of collagen. Effectively, additional vitamin C helps a horse adapt to increased stress – be it from being stabled, to extreme temperatures, immune challenge or intense effort.
Is SimplyBoost suitable for laminitis sufferers?
Yes because the sugar/starch level is negligible.
How do I feed SimplyBoost?
SimplyBoost is added to hard feed and the daily dose (50ml Horses/25ml ponies) can be given in just one feed or split across two. Equilibrium do not recommend adding to a water bucket as not all of the water will necessarily be drunk. It is not designed to be squirted directly into the Horse’s mouth.
What if a human accidentally drinks it?
SimplyBoost is not harmful to humans or palatable to humans. If it is drunk then the human body will flush out any excess nutrients.
If a horse is being fed a multi vitamin and mineral supplement do I need to feed SimplyBoost?
Yes there are occasions when it is beneficial to add extra vitamin support to your horse’s normal diet. SimplyBoost has been developed to support horses and ponies when there is a disruption to their routine which causes extra stress that their normal diet is not designed to cope with.
Can I use more than one variant at a time?
Yes the SimplyBoosts can be used singularly or combined with each other. For example a competition horse during a busy season would benefit from using all three Boosts around the time of events.
